“I don’t want my legs to get too big” “I want skinny legs” These are regular comments I hear from women, in fact I used to feel exactly the same way about myself!


I’ve always had massive insecurities about my legs and the way they look and feel... I’m sure it stems back to school days when boys and girls were cruel and I would get “tree trunks” or “chunky” thrown my way! It just kind of stuck with me that my legs were ugly and as a result I rarely wore dresses or shorts.


And then I discovered what it meant to weight train and have “strong” legs. That feeling after a leg session when they are tight and firm is amazing! It has also made me recognise that I have to learn to love the body I have and the type of composition it is. Working with my body and pushing limits to reach my goals is a great feeling!



So don’t be scared of training your legs ladies - changing your mindset and becoming strong is a great place to be!
